Resumo: This Case Study aims to introduce the potential acquisition proposed by Salesforce to Slack. To better understand this matter, there is an introduction to the environment of the industry, followed by relevant topics about the two companies and their business strategy. Subsequently, a detailed overview of Salesforce will be done, positioned in the second quarter of 2021, before the acquisition took place in order to better understand the internal aspects of the company and how it was its position before deciding to acquire Slack.
