CORONARY GREENWAY ACTIVATION IN THE AUTONOMIC REGION OF MADEIRA: COHORT STUDY

Resumo: Introduction: Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) is the most effective form of treatment for reducing mortality and complications (Soleimani et al., 2020). Objective: to characterize the AMR population undergoing PCI under activation of the Coronary Greenway (CVS) by a nurse from the pre-hospital to the hemodynamic service. Methodology: Exploratory retrospective analytical cohort study, with the following inclusion criteria: adults undergoing PCI with CVS activation from January 2020 to December 2022. Results/discussion: The inflow to the ER in the last three years increased gradually, 81,168 entries in 2020, 100,636 in 2021 and 121576 in 2022, being proportional to the activation of CVS. This is activated, on average, 1.59% of the total number of patients; however, it does not translate into an increase in the number of patients undergoing PCI. We identified the morning shifts as being those with the highest number of activations, with chest pain as the main symptom. From the total, 73% were men who were younger than the average age of women by 7.5 years in.

A Intervenção Coronária Percutânea Primaria (ICPp) é a forma de tratamento mais eficaz para a redução da mortalidade e complicações (Soleimani et al., 2020). Objetivo: caracterizar a população da RAM, submetida a ICPp, sob ativação da Via Verde Coronária (VVC), por um enfermeiro desde o pré-hospitalar até ao serviço de hemodinâmica. Metodologia: Estudo exploratório de coorte analítico retrospetivo, com os seguintes critérios de inclusão: adultos submetidos a ICPp, com ativação da VVC, desde janeiro de 2020 a dezembro de 2022. Resultados/discussão: A afluência ao SU nos últimos três anos aumentou paulatinamente, 81 168 entradas no ano de 2020, 100 636 em 2021 e 121 576 em 2022, sendo proporcional a ativação das VCC. Esta, é ativada, em média, 1,59% do número total de doentes; contudo não se traduz no aumento de doentes submetidos a ICPp.
