The present document aims to critically reflect the experience of this professional internship, in the context of the conclusion of 2nd degree cycle of studies in Physical Education Teaching at the Middle and High school level, at the Faculty of Sport of University of Porto.A professional internship, being a learning process with a very personal and singular character, is a unique opportunity to use the knowledge that is at the basis of a given subject and applying it to the real context of education.The present Internship Report encompasses the initial training of an internship student at D. Dinis Middle and High School. With the purpose of reporting my activity, this paper begins with an introduction that aims at clarifying the expectations and goals of this professional internship. After that, a biographical picture is set that presents the personal importance of this process in achieving professional competences in this field. Following this, a professional framework is given, which mentions the context of the present internship. This is followed by Performing Professional Practices, which is divided in three areas, "Organization and management of teaching and learning"; "Participation in school and relationships with the community"; "Professional Development", which has at its basis the reflexions throughout the academic year. This last one is inserted in the investigative studies, with the theme "Perception of the Relationships of a Group through the Application of the Sociometric Test".Lastly, considering the richness of this Professional Internship, an overall balance is performed, regarding the systemization of conclusions and projection of a future as a Professor of Physical Education.
