The “Tax Bem” project aims to promote the inclusion of students with Autistic Spectrum-Disorder (ASD) in regular Middle School classes through the creation of a collaborative virtual world. The authors believe that fostering forms of cooperation and socialization, in which students with ASD interact with other classmates in a virtual island called Amiko, can enhance the development of skills that promote social inclusion. It also seeks to generalize more assertive behaviors in real life situations. The involvement of all students in this serious game can raise awareness for individual differences, valuing the contributions of each individual. This project was developed for the course subject Multimedia and Accessibility of the Doctoral Program in Multimedia in Education at the University of Aveiro. The project will be hosted on a Web page, with the aim of informing and involving the largest possible number of educational actors.
