Resumo: Authors re-enforced the development of guidelines for the promotion of therapeutic adherence (TA). The purpose was the elaboration of a guideline with adapted recommendations that promote TA in adolescents with Diabetes Mellitus type 1 (DM1). The methods focused on the research of guidelines, already in place, that approached TA in adolescence with DM1. It was obtained a group of guidelines, which were submitted to a rigorous selection, bearing in mind the rules for the guidelines adaptation. Thus, was built a guideline with 25 recommendations, submitted to a discussion and update.

O objetivo do trabalho foi a elaboração de uma NOC com recomendações adaptadas para a promoção da AT dos adolescentes à Diabetes Mellitus tipo 1 (DM1). A metodologia acentou na revisão sistemática de NOC, já existentes, sobre a gestão e AT da DM1 nos adolescentes. Obtiveram-se um conjunto de NOC que foram submetidas a uma criteriosa seleção, tendo em conta a adaptação de regras para NOC.
