Use of information and communication technologies for meaningful student learning

Resumo: The importance of the use and application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for meaningful learning by students motivated the realization of this essay, which aims to socialize experiences of work as a teacher and share criteria consulted in specialized sources. The methodological process was framed by a qualitative and descriptive investigation, since it allowed to describe the situation in which the learning took place, resorting to the application of techniques such as observation; for this reason, it leads to the fulfillment of the objective of identifying the usefulness that students give to ICT during the teaching-learning process. The conclusions reached with this essay are synthesized in the way how, through the use and application of ICT, time and resources can be optimized within the classroom, subsequently suggesting specific alternatives for their adequate application and adaptation in the various subjects.

El proceso metodológico estuvo enmarcado por una investigación de tipo cualitativa y descriptiva, ya que permitió describir la situación en la que se desarrolló el aprendizaje, recurriendo para ello a la aplicación de técnicas como la observación; por tal razón, conlleva al cumplimiento del objetivo de identificar la utilidad que los estudiantes le dan a las TIC durante proceso de enseñanza- aprendizaje. Las conclusiones a las que se arriba con el presente ensayo se sintetizan en la manera de cómo a través del uso y aplicación de las TIC se puede optimizar tiempo y recursos dentro del aula de clases, posteriormente sugerir alternativas puntuales para su adecuada aplicación y adaptación en las diversas asignaturas.A importância do uso e aplicação das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC) para a aprendizagem significativa dos alunos motivou a realização deste ensaio, que visa socializar experiências de trabalho como professor e compartilhar critérios consultados em fontes especializadas. O processo metodológico foi enquadrado por uma investigação qualitativa e descritiva, uma vez que permitiu descrever a situação em que decorreu a aprendizagem, recorrendo à aplicação de técnicas como a observação; por isso, leva ao cumprimento do objetivo de identificar a utilidade que os alunos dão às TIC durante o processo de ensino-aprendizagem.
