Mathematics Teaching in the initial years of Elementary School: about the use of Mathematical Modeling

Resumo: Mathematical Modeling in Mathematics Education outlook have been presented as a proposal of the dynamic learning, interdisciplinary, visual and concrete, and the researches about its use in the initial years of Elementary School have been extended. Thus, recognizing the necessity of research and enlarge the discussion about the use of Mathematical Modeling on Mathematics teaching in the initial years of a public school. And for this purpose, it was included bibliographic and documental studies on Mathematics teaching and also Mathematical Modeling in the initial years, as well as, the analysis of an educational practice experienced with students from the fourth and fifth grade of a country school, from Chopinzinho-PR county. From the studies and experiences performed it was realized that Mathematical Modeling, as a teaching methodology, provides opportunities of a pleasure teaching for children, they feel valued and actively take part of the process.

Delante de eso, reconociendo la necesidad en pesquisar y ampliar las discusiones acerca del uso de la Modelación Matemática, el presente trabajo tuve como objetivo principal investigar acerca del uso de la Modelación Matemática en el enseño de Matemática en los años iniciales en una escuela pública. Y, para eso, comprendió estudios bibliográficos y documentales acerca del enseño de la Matemática y acerca de la Modelación Matemática en los años iniciales y, todavía, el análisis de una práctica educativa vivida con alumnos del cuarto y quinto año de una escuela del campo, do municipio de Chopinzinho-PR.  De los estudios y de la vivencia realizada se percibió que la Modelaje Matemática, como metodología de enseño, oportuniza un enseño más placerozo para los niños, ellas se sienten valoradas y participan activamente del proceso.A Modelagem Matemática na perspectiva da Educação Matemática tem se apresentado como uma proposta de aprendizado dinâmico, interdisciplinar, visual e concreto, e as pesquisas sobre seu uso nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental tem se ampliado. Diante disso, reconhecendo a necessidade de pesquisar e ampliar as discussões sobre o uso da Modelagem Matemática, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo principal investigar sobre o uso da Modelagem Matemática no ensino da Matemática nos anos iniciais numa escola pública. E, para isso, compreendeu estudos bibliográficos e documentais sobre o ensino de Matemática e sobre a Modelagem Matemática nos anos iniciais e, ainda, a análise de uma prática educativa vivida com alunos do quarto e quinto ano de uma escola do campo, do município de Chopinzinho – PR.
