Resumo: This article aims to analyze how a person affected by Alzheimer’s Disease (henceforth AD) builds their identity interactively in the context of a narrative interview. The AD scenario is a complex field considering the losses caused by the disease that affect language and cognition and significantly affect interaction and everyday social life. In addition, the increasing aging of the Brazilian population is a reality that can trigger the increase in the incidence of AD. Taking these factors into consideration, in our analysis we identified the linguistic resources used by the participant that evidence the co-construction of her identity. Thus, as a theoretical foundation we will mobilize the studies of oral narrative and the concept of identity. The analyzes show that the research participant affected by AD uses contextualization clues and indexicality elements that allow the identity construction to be evidenced.
