Resumo: This research aims to present clowning as a potential practice for the development of the affective-relational dimension of teachers. Based on the theoretical analysis of concepts of complexity and affectivity, we seek the possibility of intertwining the perspectives of clowning with the pedagogical practice. Teaching is an intrinsically relational activity, as cognition is mediated through socio-affective relationships in the school environment. However, the interactional character of teaching is a delicate and difficult aspect for a formative work. Thus, clowning can be a potential resource for improving the interactional dimension of teachers, since one of the clown's roles is to capture their audience and fully engage them in their game. Based on the considerations presented, it is possible to consider that clowning can contribute to the interpersonal improvement of teachers by bringing to the daily practice of teachers the same principles that allow clowns to experience and relate to the world from a performative state.

SciELO PreprintsSciELO PreprintsSciELO Preprints2022-06-21info:eu-repo/semantics/preprintinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://preprints.scielo.org/index.php/scielo/preprint/view/427410.1590/SciELOPreprints.4274porhttps://preprints.scielo.org/index.php/scielo/article/view/4274/8103Copyright (c) 2022 Alisson Jardel Pereira Silva, Marco Antonio Santoro Salvadorhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSilva, Alisson Jardel PereiraSalvador, Marco Antonio Santororeponame:SciELO Preprintsinstname:SciELOinstacron:SCI2022-06-13T22:53:44Zoai:ops.preprints.scielo.org:preprint/4274Servidor de preprintshttps://preprints.scielo.org/index.php/scieloONGhttps://preprints.scielo.org/index.php/scielo/oaiscielo.submission@scielo.orgopendoar:2022-06-13T22:53:44SciELO Preprints - SciELOfalse
