Resumo: This work presents the report on the development and application of an educational product in the form of a distance learning teacher course through the MOODLE platform on the STSE (Science, Technology, Society and Environment) and PMTU (Potentially Meaningful Teaching Unit) approach. The objective was to verify the pertinence of the proposed theoretical approach and the possibility of the conjugation between them, that is, the feasibility of applying a didactic sequence with STS / STSE approach in the teaching of Physics, Sciences and Mathematics for students of basic education. The text presents in an exploratory way the concepts of PMTU and STSE. An epistemological essay and the report of the activities carried out described in order to contextualize the proposed scenario. Finally, the content analysis of the data collected in the activities carried out that affirmatively point to the relevance of the union between PMTU and STSE presented, considering the reality of the current context of basic education based on the teachers' perspective. Thus, we have that the proposed approach contributed to the training of Science and Mathematics teachers regarding the STSE perspective and the PMTU.

Thus, we have that the proposed approach contributed to the training of Science and Mathematics teachers regarding the STSE perspective and the PMTU.Este trabalho de pesquisa apresenta o relato do desenvolvimento e da aplicação de um produto educacional no formato de curso de formação de professores na modalidade a distância, através da plataforma MOODLE, sobre o enfoque CTSA (Ciência, Tecnologia, Sociedade e Ambiente) e UEPS (Unidade de Ensino Potencialmente Significativa). O objetivo foi verificar a pertinência da abordagem teórica proposta e a possibilidade da conjugação entre elas, ou seja, a viabilidade da aplicação de uma sequência didática com enfoque CTS/CTSA no ensino de Física, Ciências e Matemática para alunos da educação básica. O texto apresenta de maneira explanatória os conceitos de UEPS e CTSA. Um ensaio epistemológico e o relato das atividades realizadas são descritos a fim de contextualizar o cenário proposto. Por fim, é apresentada a análise de conteúdo dos dados coletados nas atividades realizadas que apontam afirmativamente para pertinência da união entre UEPS e CTSA tendo em vista a realidade do atual contexto da educação básica a partir do olhar dos professores que nela atuam.
