Mathematics and the dimensions of teachingin the ENADE problems of the Business Administration course

Resumo: | This article focus on the Formative, Functional and Social Dimensions of teaching, developing reflections on the specific scope of Mathematics within the Business Administration course. This is a qualitative study, developed by documentary analysis procedures. Questions/problems concerning mathematical knowledge from the most recent ENADE (National Student Performance Examination) for this course, held in 2018, were analyzed, becoming a source of data. Observing aspects regarding Problem Solving, the study expands on a previous research, whose objective was to analyze how Mathematics is shown in the official and institutional documents and in the 2018 ENADE questions. The resolution and analysis of these problems evidenced the relevance of a work focused on critical and analytical thoughts, in addition to mathematical knowledge; and highlighted the importance of the dimensions that underlie mathematics teaching, taking into account knowledge and previous and future experiences of the Business Administration course and enhancing these professional’s formation possibilities. |

Se trata de un estudio cualitativo, desarrollado por procedimientos de análisis documental. Se analizaron preguntas/problemas que involucran conocimientos matemáticos del último ENADE (Examen Nacional de Desempeño de los Estudiantes) de este curso, realizado en 2018, constituyéndose en una fuente de datos. Observando aspectos relacionados con la Resolución de Problemas, el estudio amplía investigaciones anteriores, cuyo objetivo fue analizar cómo se muestra la Matemática en los documentos oficiales e institucionales y en las preguntas del ENADE de 2018. La resolución y análisis de estos problemas resaltó la relevancia de un trabajo centrado en el pensamiento crítico y analítico, además del conocimiento matemático, además de destacar la importancia de las dimensiones que sustentan la enseñanza de Matemática, considerando los conocimientos y experiencias anteriores y futuras del curso de Administración y ampliando las posibilidades de formación de este profesional.Este artigo trata das Dimensões Formativa, Utilitária e Social do ensino, desenvolvendo reflexões no âmbito específico da Matemática no curso de Administração. Trata-se de um estudo de natureza qualitativa, desenvolvido por procedimentos de análise documental. Questões/problemas envolvendo conhecimento matemático do mais recente ENADE (Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes) desse curso, realizado em 2018, foram analisadas, constituindo-se em fonte dos dados. Observando aspectos relacionados à Resolução de Problemas, o estudo amplia uma pesquisa anterior, cujo objetivo foi analisar como a Matemática se mostra nos documentos oficiais, institucionais e nas questões do Enade de 2018.
