From the scene to the teaching: talking with the clowning trainers

Resumo: Clowns have long attracted the attention of academic research, accumulating a relevant and diverse specialized literature. This article focuses on the teaching of clowning and, more specifically, on how renowned artists became trainers. We interviewed seven professionals, active in the five regions of the country, national references in artistic work and training, as highlighted by their peers. The multiplicity of teaching processes and paths taken to become masters was recurrently narrated. Different motivations, difficulties and anxieties are reported, aiming to broaden the debates about the initiation of new trainers.

Este artículo se centra en la enseñanza del clown y, más concretamente, en cómo artistas de renombre se convierten en formadores. Entrevistamos a siete profesionales, activos en las cinco regiones del país, referentes nacionales en el quehacer y la formación artística, como lo destacan sus pares. Se narró de manera recurrente la multiplicidad de procesos de enseñanza y caminos recorridos para llegar a ser maestros. Se relatan diferentes motivaciones, dificultades y angustias, con el objetivo de ampliar los debates sobre la iniciación de nuevos formadores.Há tempos, os palhaços e as palhaças atraem a atenção da pesquisa acadêmica, acumulando uma literatura especializada relevante e diversificada. Este artigo se debruçou sobre o ensino da palhaçada e, mais especificamente, sobre como renomados artistas se tornaram formadores.
