Resumo: The present work aims to discuss the use of charges in the teaching of Geography, considering the limits and potentialities of this activity as an active methodology in the teaching-learning process. For the realization of this work, we consider the experience obtained through an expositive class dialogued in a 9th grade class of the Municipal School Projeto Nascente, in the city of Fortaleza/CE. To achieve this, we considered as a starting point the literature review that houses the theme discussed. We tried to exercise the thought and interaction of the students of basic education from the apprehension and assimilation capacity of the approached contents, analyzing through the proposed activity, and discussed in this work, the improvement of the teaching quality, since through the ludic activities the students can give meaning to what they learn during the Geography classes.

Para la realización de este trabajo, consideramos la experiencia obtenida a través de una clase expositiva dialogada en una clase de 9º grado de la Escuela Municipal Projeto Nascente, en la ciudad de Fortaleza/CE. Para lograrlo, consideramos como punto de partida la revisión de la literatura que alberga el tema discutido. Se trató de ejercitar el pensamiento y la interacción de los estudiantes de educación básica a partir de la aprehensión y capacidad de asimilación de los contenidos abordados, analizando a través de la actividad propuesta, y se discutió en este trabajo, la mejora de la calidad de la enseñanza, ya que a través de las actividades lúdicas los estudiantes pueden dar sentido a lo que aprenden en las clases de Geografía.O presente trabalho tem como objetivo discutir acerca da utilização de charges no ensino de Geografia, considerando os limites e as potencialidades dessa atividade enquanto metodologia ativa no processo ensino-aprendizagem. Consideramos para a realização desse trabalho a experiência obtida por meio de uma aula expositiva dialogada em uma turma de 9° ano da Escola Municipal Projeto Nascente, na cidade de Fortaleza/CE. Para a consecução desta, considerou-se como ponto de partida a revisão de literatura que alberga a temática abordada.
