Becoming-tattoo: neoconservatism, controversy and complicated conversation in teacher education

Resumo: Based on an autobiographical narrative of an activity developed in a discipline, I narrate my perception of my own teaching practice, considering the importance of social movements in my education and the understanding of teaching activity, as an activist activity. I bring narratives about a practice performed, the exhibition of the movie Tatuagem and the complicated conversations (PINAR, 20009) that resulted from this exhibition. In the end, analyzing the neoconservative Brazilian scenario, I make some reflections on “the failure” of the practice experienced.
