Teaching colloquial conversation in the Spanish as a foreign language class

Resumo: The aim of this article is to analyze how and in what way the informal conversation is worked in materials designed for students who learn Spanish at advanced levels, because the conversation is the most natural and usual way of human communication. For that, two textbooks of teaching Spanish as a foreign language are analyzed as a part of a communicative method, Nuevo Ven 3 (B2 level)  and El Ventilador (C1 level). It is considered that teaching the colloquial conversation in textbooks is limited, and most of the activities are short dialogues, debates, presentationts in class based on formal texts. Also, it has been confirmed that activities do not specify if the term/word is formal or informal/colloquial.

Este artículo pretende observar cómo y de qué manera se trabaja la conversación coloquial en materiales concebidos para alumnos que aprenden español en los niveles avanzados, ya que es la conversación la forma más natural, habitual y espontánea de comunicación interactiva humana. Para ello se analiza dos libros de textos de E/LE que forman parte de método comunicativo, el Nuevo Ven 3 (nivel B2) y El ventilador (nivel C1). Se consideraue la enseñanza de la conversación coloquial en los manuales es muy limitada, la mayoría de las actividades interactivas son diálogos cortos, debates, exposiciones en clase, basados en textos formales.    También se ha podido verificar que las actividades no explicitan el término formal o informal/coloquial.Este artigo tem como objetivo observar como e de que forma a conversação coloquial é trabalhada em materiais destinados a alunos que aprendem espanhol como língua estrangeira em níveis avançados; visto que, a conversa é a forma mais natural, habitual e espontânea de comunicação humana. Para isso, são analisados ​​dois livros didáticos E/LE que fazem parte do método comunicativo, o Nuevo Ven 3 (nível B2) e O ventilador (nível C1). Acredita-se que o ensino da conversação coloquial nos manuais de ELE seja muito limitado; a maioria das atividades interativas se apresentam em pequenos diálogos, debates, apresentações em aula, baseadas em textos formais.
