Resumo: The aim of this article was to biograph Eunice Soares de Lima with emphasis on her formative trajectory as well as her teaching in private schools in the city of Fortaleza-CE. Having as type of study the biography, cultural history as theoretical support, methodologically the Oral History with collection of sources in free interviews that were recorded, transcribed and textualized, the research developed here brings as results the importance of biographical studies about the history of education, as these researches focus on micro contexts, that is, the study of a subject, reaching macro contexts. It also made it possible to understand that the biography's teaching was marked by experiences in the context of private schools, especially in early childhood education.

Tendo como tipo de estudo a biografia, como amparo teórico a História Cultural, metodologicamente a História Oral com coleta de fontes em entrevistas livres que foram gravadas, transcritas e textualizadas, a pesquisa aqui desenvolvida traz como resultados a importância dos estudos biográficos acerca da história da educação, uma vez que estas pesquisas se debruçam em contextos micros, ou seja, estudo de um sujeito, com alcance a contextos macros.
