Resumo: | In order for there to be inclusion, we must remember that a person responsible for all the success achieved in school inclusion is the school caregiver, this professional helps assist in the activities of feeding, hygiene and locomotion, in addition, he helps in all school activities in which make your presence necessary. This summary aims to understand how the caregiver can contribute to the development of students with disabilities and how this professional can contribute to a real inclusion within the school spaces. This is an exploratory field research, with a qualitative approach, using observation and a questionnaire carried out with four caregivers and teachers from the regular classroom of students who depend on a caregiver (a). The results showed that the caregivers have the knowledge about their attributions, in addition, they highlight the importance in the fight for equality of conditions. |

The results showed that the caregivers have the knowledge about their attributions, in addition, they highlight the importance in the fight for equality of conditions.Para que de fato haja inclusão, devemos lembrar que uma pessoa responsável por todo êxito alcançado na inclusão escolar é o cuidador escolar, este profissional auxilia nas atividades de alimentação, higiene e locomoção, além disso, ajuda em todas as atividades escolares nas quais se fizer necessária à sua presença. Este trabalho busca compreender de que maneira o cuidador contribui no desenvolvimento de alunos com deficiência nos espaços escolares. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de campo, exploratória, de abordagem qualitativa, recorrendo a observação e questionário realizada na Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental I Tia Benilce no município de Russas/CE com quatro cuidadores e professores da sala regular de alunos que dependem de cuidador (a).
