Remote teaching of Geography: experiences of teachers in a school in Teresina

Resumo: This article analyzes how remote teaching took place in the Geography discipline and the teachers' views on how they experienced this teaching modality during the covid-19 pandemic in a basic education school in Teresina. To support this exploratory research, bibliographic analyzes were carried out with several authors that address the subject (BUNIOTTI and GOMES, 2020; CASTRO; QUEIROZ, 2020; CARDOSO; QUEIROZ, 2019; MARTINS et al., 2021; OLIVEIRA, 2021; SOUTO; MORAIS, 2021) and a field research, where we interviewed Geography teachers to describe to us what it was like to go through remote teaching in a public school. We bring the difference between EAD and remote teaching, as was the use of technologies and the learning of Geography in the remote modality. We concluded that remote teaching precarious the conditions of teaching work as well as hampered the teaching-learning processes.

Para subsidiar esta pesquisa exploratória, foram feitas análises bibliográficas com vários autores que abordam o assunto (BUNIOTTI; GOMES, 2020; CASTRO; QUEIROZ, 2020; CARDOSO e QUEIROZ, 2019; MARTINS et al., 2021; OLIVEIRA, 2021; SOUTO; MORAIS, 2021) e uma pesquisa de campo, onde entrevistamos professores de Geografia para nos descrever como foi passar pelo ensino remoto em uma escola pública. Trazemos a diferença entre EAD e ensino remoto, como se deu o uso das tecnologias e a aprendizagem de Geografia na modalidade remota.
