Investigative trends in the continuing education of teachers: a mapping of scientific works

Resumo: | Aiming to analyze investigative trends and their contributions to the Continuing Teacher Education, this study was based on a Documentary Research. Starting from the qualitative approach, we carried out a mapping of the complete scientific works presented in the GT08 (Teacher Formation) of ANPEd, from 2017 to 2021. Fifty works were gathered, detecting their central themes, methods used and contributions. The findings point to an expansion in the discussions about the Professional Insertion of Teachers; in the investigation of methodological training devices and the emergence of Public Policies in/for the Continuing Education of Teachers. Although the investigative interest in this field is growing, some aspects still need studies that show their advances and gaps, intending to contribute to the construction of a training space based on the needs of teachers, considering them as active subjects in their professional development process. |

Partindo da abordagem qualitativa, realizamos um mapeamento dos trabalhos científicos completos apresentados no GT08 (Formação de Professores) da ANPEd, no período de 2017 a 2021. Foram reunidos 50 trabalhos, detectando suas temáticas centrais, métodos utilizados e contribuições. Os achados apontam uma ampliação nas discussões acerca da Inserção Profissional Docente; na investigação sobre dispositivos metodológicos de formação e a emergência de Políticas Públicas na/para a Formação Continuada de Professores.
