Resumo: The study aimed to report how experiences in scientific initiation in times of social isolation. The experiments started in the second week of March 2020, finalized in the last week of December of the same year. The period was marked by challenges due to social isolation (COVID-19), for example, the impossibility of attending schools and paying for the initial schedule, thus changing the initial project proposal. However, the experiences contributed to the acquisition of several learnings, such as, the improvement of scientific reading and writing and the understanding of initial elements on the methodology of scientific work.

As experiências tiveram início na segunda semana do mês de março de 2020, sendo finalizadas na última semana de dezembro do mesmo ano. O período foi marcado por desafios devido ao isolamento social (COVID-19), como exemplo, a inviabilidade de frequentar as escolas e integralização do cronograma inicial, alterando, dessa forma, a proposta inicial do projeto.
