Resumo: | The aim of this work was to study the effects of Soya bean oil and toasted whole Soya bean on performance of meat chicken. A completely randomized design experiment using 924 one day old pullets (cobb) was carried out. Male and female animals were separately divided in 28 groups of 33 pullets each, allocated in boxes and fed with seven different ration types as follow: R1- maize, Soya bean meal and Soya oil; R2- similar to R1 but without Soya oil and R3, R4, R5, R6, R7 were similar to R2 but adding respectively 7, 14, 21, 28 and 35% of toasted whole Soya. The results showed that animals at 20 days old had significantly greater weight gain (P |
