Resumo: The aim of this review is to present a synthesis of the work “The ecology of law”, written in co-authorship by the Austrian physicist Fritjof Capra and the Italian jurist Ugo Mattei. In ten succinct chapters, the authors argue in favour of an “eco-legal revolution”, which involves assuming the law itself as a common, a common good. Today, law would not yet have incorporated a paradigm shift that has already taken place in science, the transition from a vision of the world as a machine to a vision of the world as a network of ecological communities. The work illuminates the (today unavoidable) relationship between law and ecology, stimulating the emergence of a new law. It constitutes another valuable font for the treatment of the issue. Eco-law.O objetivo da presente resenha é proceder a uma apresentação compendiada da obra “A revolução ecojurídica: o direito sistêmico em sintonia com a natureza e a comunidade”, escrita em coautoria pelo físico austríaco Fritjof Capra e pelo jurista italiano Ugo Mattei. Em dez sucintos capítulos, os autores exercitam uma argumentação em prol de uma “revolução ecojurídica”, que passa por assumir o próprio direito como um common, um bem comum. Hoje, restaria o direito ainda por incorporar uma mudança paradigmática já operada na ciência, a passagem da visão do mundo como máquina para a visão do mundo como rede de comunidades ecológicas. A obra lança luz sobre a relação (hoje incontornável) entre direito e ecologia, estimulando a emergência de um novo direito. Constitui mais um expediente valoroso para o tratamento do tema.
