Resumo: In this work our objective is to analyze the concepts of integral education, time and space, in the context of schools in full-time, seeking to build a theoretical apparatus that allows an emancipatory and transformative education. For this we undertook a historical analysis of the constitution of these concepts, using studies already carried out in the area. Identified three different meanings to the concept of integral education, senses those which correspond to three current political and ideological: conservatism, liberalism and socialism. With regard to the categories of time and space we judge progress in a deterministic design to one that is based on the idea of the historical-social becoming.

With regard to the categories of time and space we judge progress in a deterministic design to one that is based on the idea of the historical-social becoming. Nesse trabalho temos como objetivo analisar os conceitos de educação integral, tempo e espaço, no âmbito das escolas de tempo integral, procurando construir um aparato teórico que possibilite uma educação emancipatória e transformadora. Para tanto empreendemos uma análise histórica da constituição destes conceitos, recorrendo a estudos já levados a efeito na área. Identificamos três diferentes sentidos para o conceito de educação integral, sentidos esses que correspondem respectivamente a três correntes políticas e ideológicas: conservadorismo, liberalismo e socialismo.
