The Place of Distance Education in the National Education (2011-2020)

Resumo: This study aims to reflect on the place of Distance Learning (EAD) in the National Education Plan (PNE)2011-2020. From the discussion of the historical and legal aspects of EAD in Brazil, which seeks tounderstand its role in our society. The analysis law project of PNE (2011-2020) compared to the OutcomeDocument of National Education Conference (CONAE) allows us to understand what is the space destinedfor the the modality of EAD, a document of such great significance, since it is though this that in the next tenyears the education of our country will be projected. We conclude that on the bill of PNE (2011 - 2020) EADappears diffusely among the strategies and focuses on the training of young people, education in the field andin post-graduate sense not refering to superior education. It is considered that the impact of this choice can bevery damaging to the democratization of education in our country.

A partir da discussão dos aspectos históricos e legais da EAD no Brasil,buscamos compreender qual seu papel na nossa sociedade. A análise do projeto de lei do PNE (2011-2020)em comparação com o Documento Final da Conferência Nacional de Educação (Conae) permite entendermosqual é o espaço destinado à modalidade de EAD em um documento de tamanha importância, visto que é pormeio deste que nos próximos dez anos a educação de nosso país será projetada.
