Resumo: The present work was carried out on Oxisol under field conditions, with hybrid corn (AG 1043), using three doses of boron (0, 1 and 2 kg/ha) and three doses of zinc (0, 2 and 4 kg/ha). On the thirtieth, sixtieth and ninetieth days of emergency, chemical analysis was performed to verify the content of nutrients in the leaves and also analysis to verify chemical characteristics in the soil in the sixtieth day after emergency. The results of the application of boron and zinc showed that there was an increase neither in the content of both leaves’ nutrients, nor in productivity, being the initial content of boron and zinc in the soil before the experiment enough to the yield reached.
