Resumo: The geography, how all science, have to develop your paradigms to your analyses object and fundamentals concepts to scientific universe. Since a born o as science, since XIX century until 50 years of XX century, the space concept transformer in link between the various ‘schools’ something a geography as science. A concept of space, almost always, confirm the changes what society make in yours structures and internal-external relations. In Germany, the space was vitally to effective the society so was organic of State; in France as a division in human and physic, the space to introduce itself in knowledge compartment and the Hartishorne´s criticism the space is absolute, to pass through other sciences.

Desde que surgiu como ciência, em meio às disputas entre alemães e franceses no século XIX, até a década de 50 do século XX, o conceito de espaço transformou-se no elo entre as várias ‘escolas’ que usam a geografia como ciência. O conceito de espaço veio, quase sempre, justificar ou confirmar as mudanças que a sociedade realizou em suas estruturas e relações intrínsecas e extrínsecas.
