O estágio curricular orientado em Educação Física: a prática, a percepção dos coordenadores de curso, a legislação, e uma proposta de modelo factível

Introduction: the thesis advocates a feasible model for the functioning of the curricular internship mandatory (ECO) in Public Institutions of Rio de Janeiro, based on knowledge of the format offered and Law 11.788 (BRASIL, 2008). Materials and methods: characterized as a cross-sectional study, descriptive, primary data, content analysis. Interviews were conducted on the ECO formats offered, with five managers of the Physical Education courses, two Bachelor's (health area) and four Bachelor's (school area) degrees from the four Public Universities of Rio de Janeiro. Constructed with support in the data analyzed from Bardin's perspective (2011) and in the pertinent legislation, the profile model was submitted to evaluation using a questionnaire, answered by the same coordinators interviewed. A statistical analysis was carried out in software, using Friedman's tests for the comparison of the managers' answers, Cochran for the comparison of the dichotomous answers, Cronbach's Alpha for the exclusion of each manager and the inclusion of all Cluster Analysis for the dendogram, and the significance was 5%. Both the interview support form (with 28 questions) and the questionnaire (with 15 closed questions all with space to justify the choice) were validated for quality and relevance. Results: the analysis of the content of the data obtained from the interviews presented three categories in addition to context and registry units that allowed to observe that: the predominant format offered does not guarantee the supervision required by the Law; there is a mismatch between legislation and supply; the coordinators' satisfaction with the ECO practiced is influenced by barriers encountered by management at the Public University. The responses to the validation questionnaire of the model defended using the Friedman test (p-value = 0.255), and the average profile of the questions that assessed the perception of the degree of agreement of the managers with the presented model pointed to its feasibility. The model was judged to be feasible based on the comparison of the managers' perceptions about the application in their courses, carried out by the Cochran test (p-value = 0.255). Conclusion: the proposed ECO model, validated by the participants, contributes to the effectiveness of ECO functioning and the construction of full professional training
