Competência de pensamento crítico na formação acadêmica do enfermeiro pelo prisma das redes sociais de conhecimentos

Resumo: Critical thinking is characterized as a competence to be developed during nursing graduation, which is why future nurses need to (re) build knowledge that will allow them to act based upon it. This research has as general objective to understand how nursing undergraduates construct the necessary knowledge to develop a critical thinking competence during their training, under the prism of the social networks of knowledge. It is a qualitative and quantitative study developed at a public university in the interior of Bahia, Brazil, with twenty-five students who attended four compulsory courses of the seventh semester of the Curricular Matrix of the Nursing Course. Individual interviews were conducted as information collection technique. Since it was a research involving human beings, we followed Resolutions 466 of December 12, 2012 and 510 of April 7, 2016 of the National Health Council, and the project was submitted to the Ethics in Research Committee of the university, approved under decree 2.187.908, CAE: 71245717.2.0000.0055. The information was treated based on the Social Network Analysis Methodology and the Thematic Content Analysis Technique. The results were divided into three distinct moments: 1º) Socio-demographic characterization of the participants; 2º) Networks of knowledge configured from the interpersonal relations established by the nursing undergraduates in the perspective of the acquisition of the critical thinking competence and 3º) Thematic categories that bring objectivity to the knowledge constructed in network by the nursing undergraduates from the perspective of the acquisition of critical thinking. It was evidenced that the participants make up two networks (Intragroup Knowledge Network and Extragroup Knowledge Network), from which they exchange and share knowledge, contributing to the acquisition of their critical thinking competence. It was described how such knowledge is constructed, what disciplines and pedagogical methods cooperate for that construction, what sources they use and what critical nodes/barriers and facilities/possibilities they find in the course of this construction. The necessary knowledge for the development of the critical thinking competence of the nursing undergraduates is not only constructed from individual studies, but also through exchanges and sharing of information and knowledge among the students and other academic and non-academic actors, as well as through the search for other instances or spaces of production, storage and dissemination of information and knowledge via the Internet, such as virtual libraries, online databases, Facebook, WhatsApp, among others, even though the physical presence of the teacher and the student in the classroom or practice field is essential for their professional training.

Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo geral compreender como os acadêmicos de enfermagem constroem os conhecimentos necessários ao desenvolvimento da competência de pensamento crítico durante a sua formação, sob o prisma das redes sociais de conhecimentos. Estudo de abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa desenvolvido em uma universidade pública do interior da Bahia, junto a vinte e cinco discentes que cursavam concomitantemente quatro disciplinas obrigatórias do sétimo semestre da matriz curricular do Curso de Enfermagem. Utilizou-se como técnicas de coleta de informações a entrevista individual a membros de uma comunidade. Por tratar-se de pesquisa envolvendo seres humanos, obedeceu-se às Resoluções nº 466 de 12 de dezembro de 2012 e nº 510 de 7 de abril de 2016 do Conselho Nacional de Saúde, tendo sido o projeto submetido ao Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa da referida universidade, aprovado sob o parecer 2.187.908, CAE: 71245717.2.0000.0055. As informações foram tratadas com base na Metodologia de Análise de Redes Sociais e a Técnica de Análise Temática de Conteúdo. Os resultados foram divididos em três momentos distintos: 1º) Caracterização sócio demográfica das participantes; 2º) Redes de conhecimentos configuradas/tecidas a partir das relações interpessoais estabelecidas pelos acadêmicos de enfermagem na perspectiva da aquisição da competência do pensamento crítico e 3º) Categorias temáticas que dão objetividade aos conhecimentos construídos em rede pelos acadêmicos de enfermagem na perspectiva da aquisição da competência de pensamento crítico. Evidenciou-se que as participantes compõem duas redes (Rede de Conhecimentos Intraturma e Rede de Conhecimentos Extraturma), a partir das quais trocam e compartilham conhecimentos, contribuindo para a aquisição da sua competência de pensamento crítico. Descreveu-se como esses conhecimentos são construídos, que disciplinas e métodos pedagógicos cooperam para essa construção, que fontes utilizam e quais nós críticos/barreiras e facilidades/possibilidades encontram no percurso desta construção.
