The worldwide incidence of cancer reveals that cervical cancer is one of the most prevalent. This pathology kills in our country especially in the north and northeast regions and is responsible for 8.1% of cases, with an estimated 16370 women affected by the disease every year in Brazil. The cytotechnician acts on the prevention and early detection of cervical cancer. This estudy to propose the expansion of cytotechnical training, increasing the possibilities of serving all the population even in the most remote areas of the country, through the restructuring of INCA/Fiocruz technical course, using the hybrid methodology, it means that, will have digital technology support. For that, proceeded to the documentary analysis of the current curricular matrix, making adaptations to the hybrid methodology, analysing the theoretical, practical or theoretical-practical dimension of each of the subjects, classifying and placing them in the adapted curricular matrix. The research shows that the implementation of the adapted, hybrid curricular matrix, preserves the quality of the training carried out today, proves to be adequate, in addition to being necessary. It’s evident that the inclusion of digital technologies in the professional health educational process maximizes the training potential, optimizes the costs of training, overcoming the geographical and social issues of a continental country like Brazil.
