Resumo: This article intends to present some discussions around the theme of the construction of Philosophy in Brazil, from Bento Prado Jr. (2000), Cruz Costa (1975), Paulo Arantes (1993, 1994a, 1994b), Ivan Domingues (2017) and Júlio Cabrera (2014). We will point out the philosophical and political trajectory of José Chasin (2009), as a way of highlighting its importance in the history of philosophy and in the Brazilian historical particularity. These discussions are sown in the disciplines of the Professional Master's in Philosophy (PROF-FILO) and in ongoing research on the investigation of false news in the teaching of Philosophy, having Chasin's thinking as a theoretical reference. The Brazilian philosopher, from the resumption of the ontological character present in the Marxian work, carried out a theoretical production that deals with Brazil from its colonial matrix until the post-democratization period. With Chasin we see, in practice, how the categories of universality, particularity and uniqueness are not just concepts, but forms of existence. The primacy of being and objectivity, inherited from Marxist ontology, made him study the Brazilian reality from its societal fabric and its specific historical formation, within the process of capital development and globalization.

Cotejaremos com a trajetória filosófica e polí­tica de José Chasin (2009), como forma de sublinhar a sua importância na história da filosofia e da particularidade histórica brasileira. Trata-se de discussões semeadas no âmbito das disciplinas do Mestrado Profissional em Filosofia (PROF-FILO) e da pesquisa em andamento sobre investigação de notí­cias falsas no ensino de Filosofia, tendo como referencial teórico o pensamento de Chasin. O filósofo brasileiro, a partir do resgaste do caráter ontológico presente na obra marxiana, realizou uma produção teórica que trata do Brasil desde sua matriz colonial até o perí­odo pós-redemocratização. Com Chasin vemos, na prática, como as categorias de universalidade, particularidade e singularidade não são apenas conceitos, mas formas de existência.
