Contribution to the supervised academic practice in Geography at the campus of Aquidauana/Mato Grosso do Sul State, Brazil: the students' reports and the school supervisor’s perspective as sources of analysis

Resumo: This paper presents results from voluntary post-doctoral research and aims to suggest extensionist actions in the geography undergraduate course at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), Aquidauana campus, from two perspectives: the narratives found in the internship reports, and the supervising teachers at school. As theoretical reference, the materials of Lüdke (2009), Bisconsin et al (2019), Borges; Ferreira; Fontoura (2012), Tardif; Lessard; Lehaye (1991) were used regarding on continuing teacher education. In the field of Geography, the contributions on supervised internship and teacher education of Castelar (2017), Oliveira and Santos (2019) and Vallerius (2019) were also used. The focus group technique and the documentary and bibliographic analysis, according to Gatti (2005) and Franco (2021), were methodologies that contributed to obtain the results about the supervisors' impressions as well as suggestions of themes for extension activities. The reports from 2017 to 2019 were purposely chosen because they did not fit the format adopted during the pandemic and included in them those of the Pedagogical Residency Program (PRP) coordinated by CAPES. With the development of these two methodologies, the results were satisfactory because themes related to Physical Geography and Geopolitics were identified as emerging among the supervisors who have participated in the focus group. The identified themes may serve as a subsidy, including to facilitate proposals that may collaborate in the implementation of Resolution No. 7 of 2018 of university extension in the undergraduate curriculum. The proposal is that these issues be transformed into extensionist actions according to institutional interest. It is necessary to listen to the professors and present proposals that meet their expectations.

Como referencial teórico fueron utilizados los materiales de Lüdke (2009), Bisconsin et al (2019), Borges; Ferreira; Fontoura (2012), Tardif; Lessard; Lehaye (1991) sobre la formación docente continua y en el campo de Geografía las contribuciones sobre las prácticas profesionales supervisadas y formación de profesores de Castelar (2017), Oliveira; Santos (2019) y Vallerius (2019). La técnica del grupo de enfoque y el análisis documental y bibliográfico, siguiendo las lecturas de Gatti (2005) y Franco (2021), fueron las metodologías que contribuyeron para la obtención de los resultados sobre la impresión de los supervisores y las sugerencias de temas para acciones de ampliación. Los informes de 2017 a 2019 fueron intencionalmente escogidos por no adaptarse al formato adoptado durante la pandemia y en ellos fueron incluidos los del Programa de Residencia Pedagógica (PRP) coordinado por la CAPES. Con el desarrollo de estas dos metodologías, los resultados se mostraron satisfactorios, pues fueron identificados temas fundamentales centrados en la Geografía Física y Geopolítica como de emergencia entre los supervisores de la escuela. Las temáticas identificadas podrán servir de subsidio, inclusive, para facilitar actividades que puedan colaborar en la implementación de la Resolución nº 7 de 2018 sobre extensión universitaria en el currículo de la graduación. A técnica do grupo focal e a análise documental e bibliográfica, seguindo as leituras de Gatti (2005) e Franco (2021), foram as metodologias que contribuíram para a obtenção dos resultados sobre as impressões dos supervisores e as sugestões de temas para ações extensionistas. Os relatórios de 2017 a 2019 foram propositalmente escolhidos por não se adequarem ao formato adotado durante a pandemia e neles incluídos os do Programa de Residência Pedagógica (PRP) coordenado pela CAPES. Com o desenvolvimento destas metodologias, os resultados mostraram-se satisfatórios, pois foram identificados temas voltados à Geografia Física e Geopolítica como emergenciais entre os supervisores na escola. As temáticas identificadas poderão servir de subsídio, inclusive, para facilitar atividades que possam colaborar na implementação da Resolução nº 7 de 2018 sobre extensão universitária no currículo da graduação.
