This course conclusion paper presents the relationships present in the educational space, with the objective of analyzing how the democratic management of an indigenous school takes place, aiming at partnership relations with the community, based on the school and social dual, specifically in an Indigenous State School, located in the village of Ouricuri, municipality of Pariconha in the highlands of Alagoas. It is important to emphasize the interaction between school and community, assuming the teaching and learning process developed in the village Jeripankó, so we go through the specificities of differentiated education that is based on local history and culture. In this way, indigenous peoples carry with them a sense of education, caused by the exchange of knowledge from their elders, but contemporaneity requires the systematization of teaching, as a result, they seek respect, visibility and equality. To the methodological procedures we developed a qualitative, exploratory and bibliographic study that directed all data collection, which we conducted the research through semi-structured interviews, based on theoretical foundations referenced by: Bastos, 2005, Brazil, 1998, Brazil, 2004, Gadotti, 2014, Lück, 2009, Vasconcellos, 1982, Cury, 2005, Picanço, 2012, Silva 2016, among others. Therefore, it can be seen that the search for democracy within a village simultaneously intertwines rights and duties in view of a partnership of multicultural respect for knowledge coming from the force of nature and the community.
