The water is an essential element not only for socioeconômicos ends, but, especially, in the maintenance of life in the Planet. The historical relation between the hídricos society and resources demonstrates how much the social necessities to lack to be supplied for the process of appropriation and use. However, this relation have provoked ambient problems in aquatic ecosystems. It is in this direction that the present objective work to understand the process of eutrofização in Rio Paraíba of the Way in Alagoas, being determined it for intermediary it Index of Estado Trófico (IET), as well as the mensuração of the load of nutrients it above-mentioned river, and, in turn, searched to understand as the antrópicas actions had influenced in these processes. The related research contributes and fills a gap in scientific literature in what it says respect to this line of research on Rio Paraíba of the Way, and, therefore, contributes for the management of the hídricos resources. The methodology is based on the access to the Data base of the Laboratory of Geoquímica Ambiental (IGDEMA-UFAL) referring to the hidrológico year of 2013. These data are referring to the following physical and chemical parameters: Nitrito, Ammonia, Nitrate, Dissolved Match, Dissolved Oxygen, Saturation of Oxygen, Temperature of the water and Clorofila. The outflow data had been gotten next to National Agency of Waters (ANA) and of precipitation with the State secretary of the Environment and Recursos Hídricos (SEMARH). In the laboratory analyses one was overcome as scientific basement the proposals of Carmouze (1994), Medeiros (2007), Strickland and Parsons (1972). For determination of the eutrofização model TRIX was used. Therefore, the quality of the water of Rio Paraíba of the Way passed for significant alterations in parameters as Total Match, Turbidez, Electric Condutividade, Dissolved Oxygen and Salinity. The match enrichment determined significant period of training of eutrofização and this has affected the socioeconômico potential of the river, as well as limited appropriate the social use. Such alterations possess relation with the antrópicas actions, such as: lack of adjusted sanitary exhaustion, points of pollution and contamination, urban expansion, deforestation of the ciliar bush, assoreamento and process of dragagem without supervision technique.
