This work aimed to analyze the contributions of playfulness to the stimulus and development of tearning in a school in sinimbu, located in the municipality of delmiro gouveia, alagoas. The methodology is qualitative, the technique and dala collection concerns the semi-structured interview conducted with 7 teachers from the first year of elementaryschool and early childhood education. The information gathered in the context of research of an enpirical nature culminated in the recognition of imporance of playful activities that characterize games and play in the intellectual, moral and physical development of children.the research is also related to the statements and quotes that characterize as relevante and significant the use of the importance of playfulness to stimulate and develop the multiple intelligences in a school. The data collctedand analyzed confirm that playfulness is of paramount importance for the developent of the teaching and learning process, inviting is to reflect on teaching knowledge/doing. playfulness is fundamental for the development of childrens’s potentia atities in their entirety, considering them as subjecty of rights that have specificities and that, consequently are protagonists of the school universe.
