This work was a qualitative research with an emphasis on field research. Had as an objective, to analyze reading and writing practices and teacher education in the Years initials. Understand the learning process, and the importance of training teachers for pedagogical practice, expose students' learning difficulties in the early years of elementary school, with the process of acquiring written language. Therefore, we seek to know if the pedagogical practice used in the teaching process is efficient to intervene with students, if there is a relationship between teacher training and the difficulties in the learning process, and to know which factors interfered in this process. For data collection, questionnaire application techniques were performed, observations and participation performed by the researcher during a supervised internship that happened during the eighth period of the pedagogy course in 2018 and analysis of texts. After the results obtained, we understand that there are several factors that contribute to difficulties in the learning process. Among these, social, cultural and familiar.
