Vegetating On The Morgue Of The Living: “To make die and to let die” in the brazilian context

Resumo: | The reflections in this work are based on the policies of unprotection, abandonment and death, using as theoretical references authors such as Michel Foucault, Giorgio Agamben, Achille Mbembe and Fátima Lima. With Foucault's help, we reflected on how social policies favor life's government processes. With Agamben, we perceived how ways of structuring relationships can generate exclusion of young people and contribute to a state of exception. With Mbembe and Fátima Lima, we understood the conditions of death implied in the relations of policies of disinvestment. The study concludes that the way by which policies are conceived and executed make it possible to "make die and let die" in the Brazilian context. Com Agamben, percebeu-se como formas de estruturação das relações podem gerar exclusão de jovens e contribuir para um estado de exceção. Com Mbembe e Fátima Lima, compreendeu-se as condições de morte implicadas nas relações de políticas de desinvestimento. A conclusão a que se chega com esse estudo é que o modo que políticas são concebidas e executadas possibilitam um "fazer morrer e deixar morrer" no contexto brasileiro.
