For the correct application of the financial resources, studies and analysis on several factors are necessary. These factors are taken into consideration for the determination of objectives and types of investments. In addition, are analyzed according to the profile of each investor. The aim of this study is to analyze the profile of academics investors of the Federal University of Ceará, FEAAC campus, in addition to analyzing the factors that influence the choice, the goals and the types of investments chosen. To this end, a bibliographical research on the criteria of analysis of investment and investor profiles. Then it was performed a quantitative-descriptive research, with the application of a questionnaire to a sample of students of courses taught on the campus FEAAC, in order to collect empirical data that allow the achievement of the goals of research. After application of the questionnaire, the tabulation of the data, allowing you to reach some conclusions, among them and emphasize that students present a moderate profile, apply mostly in savings and has as main purpose the purchase of home ownership.
