This article aims to identify the impact of sense of community in predicting personal well-being in Brazilian children from the South Region of Brazil. The study included 1635 children between the ages of 8 and 13 years (M=10.17, SD=1.49). The Personal Well-Being Scale (PWB) and the adapted Sense of Community Index were used. Multiple Regression Analyses were performed with the full scale of personal well-being as the dependent variable. We identified that the scale factors community connectedness and community relationships are predictors of Personal Well-Being. Therefore, it is necessary to promote community based interventions with children with a focus on connectedness with the community and with neighbors as a way of promoting wellbeing among Brazilian children.
