This work aims to analyze the role of social networks, Facebook and Twitter, as such devices that were used as supporting in the divulgation and aid of Brazilian sociopolitical construction during the second term of the ex- president Dilma Rousseff. In this way it one tries to make explicit the forms that these devices are applied in the construction of the speeches; showing their impact on the decisions of the connected society and how they participate ar manipulation of democratic discourse. The method chosen was bibliographic and documentary research. The theoretical framework was based on theories of communication, sociological and philosophical analyzes, seeking to establish the arguments about the influence of social networks in the dissemination, manipulation and consolidation of political knowledge. From the data analysis it was possible to understand how digital social networks are used as devices to support maneuvers political, marking its presence at crucial moments in Brazilian politics. However even recognizing social networks as powerful devices and constructors of policies understandings and assuming an important role in strengthening the Brazilian political discourse, it is still too early to say that one day they became decisive devices in the establishment of political power.
