Resumo: This work used the Operational Research in the Capixaba soccer Championship of series B of 2020 to implement a model that optimizes the allocation of referees and contributes to the reduction of current costs regarding their transport, through a solution that reduces the total distance traveled by referees to carry out the matches. Through Linear Programming, the solution presented would save 55% of the total distance covered originally and its expenses, in addition to the possibility of reducing costs with arbitrators who become idle. The exposed model can still be modified according to new restrictions, such as the obligation for all referees to be assigned to the games and to be applied in other sports.

The exposed model can still be modified according to new restrictions, such as the obligation for all referees to be assigned to the games and to be applied in other sports.Este estudo tem como desígnio a utilização da Pesquisa Operacional para resolução de um problema envolvendo a alocação de árbitros no Campeonato Capixaba da série B de 2020, utilizando especificamente o método da Programação Linear e o Excel para reduzir os custos atuais quanto ao transporte dos mesmos, otimizando os recursos disponíveis através de uma solução que reduza a distância total percorrida pelos árbitros para realizar as partidas do campeonato, atendendo ainda suas disponibilidades. A solução apresentada economizaria 55% do total da distância percorrida originalmente e consequentemente os gastos, além de reduzir custos desnecessários com árbitros que se tornam ociosos. O modelo exposto pode ainda ser modificado conforme novos parâmetros, restrições e ser aplicado em outros esportes.Este estudio tiene como objetivo utilizar la Investigación Operativa para resolver un problema que involucra la asignación de árbitros en el Campeonato de Capixaba Serie B 2020, específicamente utilizando el método de Programación Lineal y Excel para reducir los costos actuales en cuanto a su transporte, optimizando los recursos disponibles a través de una solución que reduce la distancia total recorrida por los árbitros para la realización de los partidos de campeonato, teniendo en cuenta también su disponibilidad. La solución presentada ahorraría el 55% de la distancia total recorrida originalmente y consecuentemente los gastos, además de reducir costos innecesarios con árbitros que quedan inactivos.
