Resumo: | This brief article proposes three categories of authorship that conceive it as an ambiguous form of identity according to different strategies of artistic making. The Sample&Hold synthesizer module, uncreative writing and Markov chains illustrate distinct ways of dealing with the question of "how to be an artist without being an author", formulated through indeterminacy, irony and statistics respectively. Observations made in this text are conceptual results of a personal process of research and artistic practices. |

El módulo de sintetizador Sample&Hold, la escritura no creativa y las cadenas de Márkov ilustran distintas formas de abordar la cuestión de "cómo ser artista sin ser autor", formulada a través de la indeterminación, la ironía y la estadística, respectivamente. Las observaciones realizadas en este texto son resultados conceptuales de un proceso personal de investigación y prácticas artísticas.Este breve artigo propõe três categorias de autoria que a concebem como forma ambígua de identidade segundo diferentes estratégias do fazer artístico. O módulo de sintetizador Sample&Hold, a escrita não-criativa e as cadeias de Markov ilustram modos distintos de tratar a questão de “como ser artista sem ser autor”, formulada através da indeterminação, ironia e estatística respectivamente.
