Resumo: This dissertation is fruit of some inquiries, raised starting from my practice of teacher of the years begin of the fundamental teaching, concerning the place and of the importance of the narratives in the school context. The research was accomplished in the Unit São Cristóvão I of the School Pedro II with a group of twelve teachers that they act from the first to the fifth year of education. In that work I look for to know, through the memoirs and those teachers' narratives, their experiences with the action of narrating along their life courses and work, in order to understand that it forms were constituted those relationships and the place that destine to the narratives in their pedagogic practices. Taking the narratives as focus of the research and also as investigation instrument, the study was developed through thematic oral interviews where she tried to establish a remembrance space and reflection on the place of the narratives in the personal and professional paths, especially in the institutional context of the School Pedro II. To compose the analysis, also data of the official documents of the School and their proposals were used, seeking to do to stand out the senses attributed to the narratives and the value that it is given to the same ones in the several institutional practices that they involve teachers and students. The study had as theoretical-methodological support Walter Benjamin's reflections concerning the art of narrating and the concepts the this interconnected: the experience, the time, the memory and the remembrance as ethical and political commitment of doing to emerge of the ruins of the narrative new forms of exercising her. For that road, the research intends to give relief to the singular histories through the teachers' voice that they make the history of the School daily Pedro II, although they don't have expression space in their official registrations. Mikhail Bakhtin's reflections in his theory of the language increased important contributions as for the research practice in itself and to the relationships among the subjects involved in this process. The study evidenced a plurality of senses attributed by the teachers to the narratives and, since then, as space if constituting multiple ways to understand and to undertake the action of narrating in her occupation, where subjects of personal and professional life are interlaced, besides the own institutional context.

A pesquisa foi realizada na Unidade São Cristóvão I do Colégio Pedro II com um grupo de doze professoras que atuam do primeiro ao quinto ano de escolaridade. Nesse trabalho busco conhecer, por meio das memórias e narrativas dessas professoras, suas experiências com o ato de narrar ao longo de seus percursos de vida e trabalho, a fim de compreender de que forma foram constituídas essas relações e o lugar que destinam às narrativas em suas práticas pedagógicas. Tomando as narrativas como foco da pesquisa e também como instrumento investigativo, o estudo foi desenvolvido por meio de entrevistas orais temáticas onde se procurou estabelecer um espaço de rememoração e reflexão sobre o lugar das narrativas nas trajetórias pessoais e profissionais, notadamente no contexto institucional do Colégio Pedro II. Para compor a análise, também foram utilizados dados dos documentos oficiais do Colégio e suas propostas curriculares, visando fazer sobressair os sentidos atribuídos às narrativas e o valor que é dado às mesmas nas diversas práticas institucionais que envolvem professores e alunos. O estudo teve como suporte teórico-metodológico as reflexões de Walter Benjamin acerca da arte de narrar e os conceitos a esta interligados: a experiência, a temporalidade, a memória e a rememoração como compromisso ético e político de fazer emergir das ruínas da narrativa novas formas de exercêla. Por esse caminho, a pesquisa pretende dar relevo às histórias singulares por meio da voz das professoras que fazem cotidianamente a história do Colégio Pedro II, ainda que não tenham espaço de expressão em seus registros oficiais. As reflexões de Mikhail Bakhtin em sua teoria enunciativa da linguagem acrescentaram importantes contribuições quanto à prática de pesquisa em si e às relações entre os sujeitos envolvidos neste processo.
