Resumo: This article intends to contribute to the understanding of how the dynamics of modern historical time and the contemporary one, characterized by updatism, intensifies the possibility of reproducing traumatic experiences and drastically reduce the likelihood of mourning, which is even more central in times of pandemic catastrophe. The intention is to carry out this reflection departing from a dialogue between studies in the scope of the theory of history and psychoanalysis. Throughout the examination of these hegemonic historical-temporal dynamics, it is intended to point out and favor the emergence of other forms of opening for the articulation of historicity, capable of giving voice to difference, as well as too disruptive bodies and affections.

A intensão é realizar essa reflexão a partir de uma interlocução entre estudos no âmbito da teoria da história e da psicanálise.
