Resumo: | The article discusses contributions to historiographical operations based on bringing history and computing closer together. We use as a case a problem of intellectual history, which involves understanding the reception of Nietzsche in Brazil. The digitization of historical collections is examined, as well as the impact of these technologies on access and historical research, incorporating methods such as data mining and natural language processing. The study highlights how digital history can alter historical research, exploring patterns and contexts around the reception of Nietzsche through a survey of digital collections, demonstrating an approach that balances quantitative and qualitative methods. In the first part of the text we present a system of filters as a heuristic tool. In the second part, we analyze the clippings produced through this system. Finally, we try to analyze how a particular author, José Oiticica, conceived of Nietzsche throughout his life. The aim of this investigation is to operate synchronic and diachronic movements based on the readings of Nietzsche found in the Revista do IHGB and Revista Americana in the First Republic. |
