Resumo: this article investigates the theme of sanitary authority in Brazil, during the period of the COVID-19 crisis, from the interdisciplinary perspective between Administrative Law and sociology, dialogue with the judgment of ADI 6586 by the Supreme Court. It analyzes the division of labor in the administrative field of symbolic production of regulation on the compulsory vaccine and the official sanitary discourse. The bureaucratic field of the State produces the neutralization of the sanitary conflicts at stake and the vaccination policy depends on the degree of confidence of the authority of the Administration. The relevance of Administrative Sanitary Law is developed, whose object is to enable legal reflections on public health. The STF's decision provides for a return to mandatory vaccination in the context of the social history of the problems. The methodology of the study was literature search with case study. It is concluded that the strength of the legal-administrative sanitary form is not constituted through abstract reason, but through the disputes that occur in the fields of the social world.

Analisa-se a divisão do trabalho do campo administrativo de produção simbólica da normatização sobre a vacina obrigatória e o discurso sanitário oficial. O campo burocrático do Estado produz a neutralização dos conflitos sanitários em jogo e a política vacinal depende do grau de confiança da autoridade da Administração. Desenvolve-se a relevância do Direito Administrativo Sanitário, cujo objeto é possibilitar reflexões jurídicas sobre saúde pública. A decisão do STF proporciona retomar a vacinação obrigatória no âmbito da história social dos problemas. A metodologia do estudo foi pesquisa bibliográfica com estudo de caso.
