Dynamics of the maquilator industries in Paraguay

Resumo: The general objective of this article is to analyze the dynamics of the maquiladora industries in Paraguay. The methodological procedures used in the research were: semi-structured interviews with representatives of the public and private sectors, photographic records and maps. Secondary data obtained from the National Chamber of Industries of Maquiladora de Exportación (CNIME) was also used. The results indicate that there is a unique dynamic in the performance of maquiladora companies that initially materializes in the heating of the internal economy of the country and the generation of jobs and wages.

Los procedimientos metodológicos utilizados en la investigación fueron: entrevistas semiestructuradas a representantes del sector público y privado, registros fotográficos y mapas. También se utilizaron datos secundarios obtenidos de la Cámara Nacional de Industrias Maquiladoras de Exportación (CNIME). Los resultados indican que existe una dinámica única en el desempeño de las empresas maquiladoras que inicialmente se materializa en el calentamiento de la economía interna del país y la generación de empleos y salarios.O objetivo geral deste artigo é analisar a dinâmica das indústrias maquiladoras no Paraguai. Os procedimentos metodológicos utilizados na pesquisa foram: entrevista semiestruturada com representantes do setor público e privado, registros fotográficos e cartográficos. Também se utilizou dados secundários obtidos junto a Câmara Nacional de Indústrias Maquiladora de Exportación (CNIME).
