Distance education and quality of education: a quantitative analysis

Resumo: The present work, carried out in the pre-pandemic period of COVID-19, intends to focus on the Distance Education modality, in a way to emphasize the quality of the teaching method. To that, having as reference, in this study, the analysis of the responses of 95 teachers from different performance networks, who, through a questionnaire, answered questions pertinent to the influence of this teaching modality in their pedagogical routines. The referred research is based on an epistemological basis, for this purpose, the Cartesian-quantitative approach to survey data, and, through statistical analysis, to understand this investigative incidence. The purpose of this study aims, moreover, to highlight the influence of technology in education in general, aiming, through this, to expand an integrative and stable dialogue with all researchers interested in the area.

Por eso, la referencia utilizada para observar este aspecto es el análisis de las respuestas de 95 profesores, de diferentes redes de desempeño, quienes a través de un cuestionario respondieron preguntas relevantes al uso e influencia de esta modalidad de enseñanza en sus rutinas pedagógicas. La investigación referida tiene como base epistemológica, para tal efecto, el abordaje cartesiano-cuantitativo para realizar el levantamiento de datos, y, a través del análisis estadístico, comprender esta incidencia investigativa. El propósito de este estudio tiene como objetivo, además, plantear la influencia de la tecnología en la educación en general, buscando, a través de ella, ampliar un diálogo integrador y estable con todos los investigadores interesados en el área.O presente trabalho, realizado em período de pré-pandemia do COVID-19, aborda a modalidade Educação a Distância, de modo a enfatizar a sua qualidade de ensino. Para tanto, a referência utilizada para observar esse aspecto é a análise das respostas de 95 professores, de distintas redes de atuação, os quais, por meio de questionário, responderam a questionamentos pertinentes ao uso e à influência dessa modalidade de ensino em suas rotinas pedagógicas. A referida pesquisa tem como base epistemológica, para tal finalidade, a abordagem cartesiana-quantitativa para se fazer o levantamento de dados, e, por meio da análise estatística, entender essa incidência investigatória.
