Potencial germinativo de sementes de Dimorphandra mollis Benth. em armazenamento, tratamentos pré-germinativos e temperatura de incubação

Resumo: This work evaluated germination of faveiro (Dimorphandra mollis Bth) seeds under the effects of storage, pregerminative treatments and environment of incubation. Sowing occurred right after harvest and 90 days after storage under refrigeration. Seeds received the following pre-germinative treatments: 1) H2SO4 / 10 minutes; 2) H2SO4/ 20 minutes; 3) Acetone / 20 minutes; 4) slow cooking at 37°C for 24 hours; 5) control. Sowing occurred in gerbox boxes and they were kept in BOD germination chamber at temperatures of incubation at 20/30°C and 25°C at greenhouse. For each date of sowing, the experiment was carried out in complete randomized design in which were used 3 x 5 factorial schemes. Three replications of 20 seeds were used and total germination percentage and speed index of germination were evaluated. Sowed seeds right after harvest showed higher index of germination when they were treated with acetone for 20 minutes (53%) and sowed at 25% or at greenhouse (51%). After 90 days of storage, the best percentage of germination was observed in temperatures of 25 and 20/30°C (35.5 44.4%), although the higher speed index of germination had been observed at greenhouse and in seeds that were treated with H2SO4for 10 minutes and with acetone for 20 minutes (1.4). After 180 days the germination was loss in slow cooking (1,7%) did not vary among the treatments, (average of 20%) and 0,39 for speed index of germination. After 300 days higher germination and speed index of germination was observed in H2SO4 / 20min + GA treatment (41% e 4,67 respectively). The seeds showed loss in germination during evaluations.

The seeds showed loss in germination during evaluations.Objetivou-se neste trabalho, avaliar a germinação das sementes de faveiro sob efeito de armazenamento, tratamentos pré germinativos e ambiente de incubação. A semeadura ocorreu logo após a colheita (T0), 90 (T90), 180 (T180) e 300 (T300) dias após o armazenamento refrigerado. As sementes receberam os seguintes tratamentos pré-germinativos: H2SO4 /10 e 20min; H2SO4 /10 e 20min + GA 100 mg.L-1 / 24 horas; H2SO4 /10 e 20min + água 24 horas; Acetona / 20 min; Banho-maria a 37o C / 24 h e Testemunha. A semeadura ocorreu em caixas gerbox e incubação em câmara de germinação BOD, nas temperaturas de 25o C e 20/30o C e em casa de vegetação. Para cada época de semeadura (T0, T90 e T180), o experimento foi conduzido em delineamento inteiramente casualizado em fatorial 3 X 5. Para o T300 foi utilizado o delineamento inteiramente casualizado com 8 tratamentos, e semeadura a 25º C. Para todas as épocas foram utilizadas 4 repetições de 20 sementes, e avaliada a porcentagem de germinação e o índice de velocidade de germinação. No T0 a maior germinação foi observada nas sementes tratadas com acetona 20 min (53% ) e incubadas a 25o C ou em casa de vegetação (51%). No T90 a maior germinação foi nas temperaturas de 25 e 20/30o C (35,5 e 44,4%), e o maior IVG em casa de vegetação e nas sementes tratadas com H2SO4 10 min e acetona 20 min (1,4 ). No T180, a germinação foi menor no tratamento banho maria (1,7%) não variando entre os demais tratamentos (média de 20%) e 0,39 para IVG. No T300 a maior germinação e o IVG foi observada no tratamento H2SO4 / 20min + GA (41% e 4,67 respectivamente).
