Resumo: The act of speaking and the enigma of translation are paradigms forexploring the theoretical-clinical work constructed by Sigmund Freud. Based on thepremise that the psychic apparatus is also a language and memory apparatus, thisarticle seeks to analyze the acts of interpretation in the clinical setting ofpsychoanalysis as a mode of operation with the syntactic analysis of spoken languageand memory inscribed within a language structure.
