HEALTH TOYS: POPULAR EDUCATION AND CULTURAL ANIMATION WITH STREET POPULATION IN BELÉM-PA

Resumo: | Article organized as a reflection of the theoretical-practical experiences from the Extension Project of the Federal University of Pará "Health Toys: playfulness, leisure and popular education for the purpose of production of citizenship and mental health". It aims to investigate the practices called Health Toys, analyzing possibilities and limits in the relations between leisure fields, education and care, from contributions of popular education and cultural animation. It is about an action research, effort of theoretical and practical production, systematically and continuously, carried out by monitoring of Health Toys actions developed in public spaces in the city of Belém, as well as the formative processes of caretakers's group (teachers, students and artists) involved in the execution of the project, for the purpose of systematizing and improving the practice. The main results were: the categories, cultural animation and popular education, contribute to invention of alternative strategies about health and citizenship production with street population from experiences of collective construction of knowledge; the ludic character, the freedom to choose the cultural content and the flexibility of the delivery time, that marks the leisure experiences, contribute to establishment of an ethic-esthetic of the encounter, the play make easier the establishment of bonds, enabling a liberating education; recognizes the limit of action of project about the amount of people benefited and sufficient financial resources for its development. The project proposes Health Toys as an important source of meetings able to operate strategies and ways of living critically, working affections to liberate the life in the city. This experience shows to the meeting of knowledge and practices between play and caring as a trigger for ethical-esthetic possibilities committed to releasing life in Belém, one of the most violent cities in the world. |

Tiene por objetivo investigar las prácticas denominadas Juguetes de Salud, haciendo un análisis de las posibilidades y límites en las relaciones entre los campos del ocio, educación y cuidado, a partir de las contribuciones de la educación popular y de la animación cultural. Se trata de una investigación-acción, esfuerzo de producción teórico-práctica continuada, sistemática, realizada por medio de seguimiento de las acciones de juguete de salud desarrolladas en espacios públicos de la ciudad de Belém, así como de los procesos formativos del grupo de cuidadores responsables por los juegos (profesores, estudiantes y artistas) involucrados en la ejecución del proyecto, con la finalidad de sistematizar y perfeccionar la práctica. Los principales resultados fueron: las categorías, animación cultural y educación popular, contribuyen a la invención de estrategias alternativas de producción de salud y ciudadanía con la población de la calle a partir de experiencias de construcción colectiva del conocimiento; el carácter lúdico, la libertad de elección del contenido cultural y la flexibilidad del tiempo de entrega que marca las experiencias de ocio contribuyen al establecimiento de una ética estética del encuentro; el jugar facilita el establecimiento de vínculos posibilitando una educación liberadora; reconoce el límite de la acción del proyecto en lo que se refiere al cuantitativo de personas beneficiadas y recursos financieros suficientes para su desarrollo. El proyecto propone Juguetes de Salud como fuente importante de encuentros capaces de operar críticamente estrategias y modos de convivencia, trabajando afectos para liberar vida en la ciudad. Esta experiencia apunta el encuentro de saberes y prácticas entre el jugar y el cuidar como disparador de posibilidades de ética estética comprometidas en liberar vida en la ciudad de Belém, una de las ciudades más violentas del mundo.Artigo organizado tendo como reflexão as experiências teórico-práticas provenientes do Projeto de Extensão da Universidade Federal do Pará “Brinquedo de Saúde: ludicidade, lazer e educação popular para a produção de cidadania e saúde mental”. Objetiva investigar as práticas denominadas Brinquedos de Saúde, analisando as possibilidades e limites nas relações entre os campos do lazer, educação e cuidado, a partir das contribuições da educação popular e da animação cultural. Trata-se de uma pesquisa-ação, esforço de produção teórico-prática continuada, sistemática, realizada por meio de acompanhamento das ações de Brinquedo de Saúde desenvolvidas em espaços públicos da cidade de Belém, bem como dos processos formativos do grupo de cuidadores brincantes (professores, estudantes e artistas) envolvidos na execução do projeto, com a finalidade de sistematizar e aprimorar a prática. Os principais resultados foram: as categorias, animação cultural e educação popular, contribuem para invenção de estratégias alternativas de produção de saúde e cidadania com a população de rua a partir de experiências de construção coletiva do conhecimento; o caráter lúdico, a liberdade de escolha do conteúdo cultural e a flexibilidade do tempo de entrega que marca as experiências de lazer contribuem para o estabelecimento de uma ética-estética do encontro; o brincar facilita o estabelecimento de vínculos possibilitando uma educação libertadora; reconhece o limite da ação do projeto no que tange ao quantitativo de pessoas beneficiadas e recursos financeiros suficientes para o seu desenvolvimento.
